The Challenge:
The customer needed a three-bedroom property in Wallsend cleared after the home had accumulated unwanted furniture, household belongings and general clutter over several years.
The main challenge was removing bulky items from bedrooms and living areas while working carefully around narrow access points. The customer also wanted several personal belongings, documents and sentimental items kept safely aside rather than removed with the clearance.
Our team needed to complete the work efficiently while separating reusable, recyclable and disposal items.
Our Solution:
Before starting, the team confirmed which belongings were to remain at the property.
We then worked systematically through each room, removing unwanted furniture, bags, household items and general waste. Larger pieces were dismantled where necessary to make removal safer and reduce the risk of damage to walls, doors and flooring.
Items suitable for recycling or reuse were separated during the clearance, while the remaining waste was loaded for responsible disposal.
Particular care was taken with photographs, paperwork and personal belongings identified by the customer.
The Result
The property was cleared in approximately six hours by a three-person team.
Around 620 kg of material was separated for recycling and responsible processing, helping reduce the amount sent to general waste.
Once the clearance was completed, the main rooms, bedrooms and access areas were left empty and accessible, allowing the customer to move forward with cleaning, maintenance and preparation of the property.
